Shipping terms
All the prices mentioned in this site are ex-Works and therefore do not include any cost related to the transport. During the buying process, one or more estimated freight costs for the available destinations in your country are advised and the one you select is added to the products amount.
With the freight prepaid, the shipping terms of the order become CIP - Carriage and Insurance Paid to [specified destination]. According to the INCOTERM, this is the case when “Seller pays for carriage and insurance to the named destination point, but risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed over to the first carrier”.
Freight cost
The freight is calculated on an estimated weight and volume and therefore it has to be checked with the actual figures upon completion of the packaging. Should we detect a relevant difference with the freight paid (+/-20%), we will contact you prior to the shipment in order to arrange for the balance payment, at your credit or at your debit.
The name of the fare selected shows the place of consignment of the order up to which the freight has been calculated, that can be either your address (truck for European destinations) or a sea port or airport of your country (for all non European destinations). In the second case, our delivery agent will contact you to arrange for the further steps required to hand over the order to you or to your nominated consignee.
Timing / TT (Transit time)
Most orders will be released to the forwarder within 10 working days from the receipt of the payment, according to the complexity of the order and the workload in the warehouse. Read here the list of the Italian public holidays.
We cannot guarantee when your order will arrive. Consider any transit or shipping time mentioned on the tariff’s name (ex.: [TT=5/6 days] ) only as a general estimate; such indication should be read as follows:
- truck = door to door, the number of days required from our warehouse to the destination address,
- sea = port to port, the vessel time from the departure port to the arrival one (inland transport and loading / disembarking time not included),
- air = airport to airport, we will load on the first available flight to the destination airport.
We encourage you to order in a timely fashion and to consider the several occurrences in international transports, to ensure you receive the order by the time you actually need it.

ZIP / CAP only for Italy
The freight for the Italian destinations is by region, so we request to our Italian clients to input in their account the CAP (Codice Avviamento Postale) of the city where the order is going to be delivered, in order to advise the proper fare. We don’t need the Zip/Cap for the rest of Europe, where we have a single fare for each whole country, and for outside Europe, where the fare is up to the selected port/airport terminal.
“Out-of-Stock” Products
There may be times when the product you have selected, in full or in part, is out-of-stock and unavailable for shipment. Should we detect such discrepancy while preparing the shipment, we will contact you through the email address advised on the order. This may result in a delay fulfilling your order.
Deadline for custom clearance at arrival
In case of sea/air shipment we consign the goods at the arrival terminal. We suggest that you get all the relevant info from the terminal or customs authorities of your country, concerning the time your order can be stored in their warehouse.
Insurance
All shipments are insured at 110% of the invoice value. In case you detect at arrival any damaged or missing packing you should accept the order with reserve and send immediately a written claim to the delivery agent that will advise to you the correct procedure to get all the damages refunded.
Sales Taxes
The purchaser is solely responsible for all sales, customs, duties taxes and/or other taxes applicable by the country of destination. Our ex-Works prices and/or shipping charges (when indicated) do not include brokerage fees, duties, or taxes imposed by your federal, provincial, and/or local governments. These fees (if any) will be requested by and due to the shipping carrier before custom clearance or delivery of the order. An exception to the above rule is the TVA / IVA / VAT that is included with the prices when applicable.
In case you are a TVA registered company in the EU [outside Italy] please ensure to input your TVA number in your account at www.My-Urban-Style.com before the order confirmation, so we will not charge the tax.
Documentation
As a standard procedure, each shipment is accompanied by the Packing List/Delivery Note and the Commercial Invoice. The following documents might be included for specific destinations:
AMS (Automated Manifest System) / ACI (Advance Cargo Info)
T2L form for transits across European countries
CMR (Contrat de transport international de Marchandises par Route)
ISPS (International Ships and Port Security)
All the products we supply [except the planters] are of Italian origin, so we will be able to supply the Certificate of Origin and/or the EUR1/ATR1 certificate for all the orders exported outside Europe.
Special requests
On the last step of the checkout process, you have the opportunity to write in the remarks space the request for the Special documents for custom clearance purpose, whether not included with those mentioned in the “Document” section just above. We will not be responsible for customs clearance difficulties due to missing documents or procedures not requested clearly before the shipment. Please note that some special document(s) will require additional time that might delay the dispatch of the order.
