INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE OF OUR PRODUCTS(IUM Ed1 R2 01/02/10)

ALL MATERIALS
During the time between the arrival and the installation, the products need to be stored in a safe place, far from sun rays.
In case of exposure to the sun and/or any delay of the installation, it is imperative the removal of all the plastic materials of the packaging (nylon), in order to allow ventilation and prevent condensation which can damage permanently the material.Please note that we will not feel responsible for damage from vandalism, misuse, accidents and failure or poor maintenance.

GALVANIZED STEEL - ALUMINUM – CAST IRON
To restore any scratches on the surface painted, we may supply (mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) cans of 400ml retouch spray in the RAL colour requested. The colour is applied to the area previously clean of dust and dirt, sprayed from a distance of 10 to 20 cm. Drying takes place in 15 minutes.

STAINLESS STEEL
We supply the products in AISI304L passivated stainless steel, or electro polished when necessary. For use in areas with a high presence of chlorides (marine areas within 5 km from the sea) or sulphur (polluted industrial areas) we recommend a regular maintenance with simple water under pressure, preferably hot. WOOD
For a longer life of wooden artefacts, we recommend an yearly maintenance. For complete retouch or repaint we can provide (mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) the same products used in production, or you can use a good waterbased wood paint, available in any paint shop, with special attention to the color shade. Drying takes place in 2 to 12 hours, depending on the method and amount of application and climatic conditions. Before applying the varnish, by brush or by spray as indicated on the product, do a light sanding the surface to remove dust, dirt and any old layers of paint.

PLASTICS
The blue film on the outside of the products should be considered as packing and should be removed at installation time. If the protective film is not removed at this time, the sunlight may crystallise it, becoming impossible to remove it later. Any fouling or dirt deposits on plastic sheets should not be removed with abrasive materials or harsh detergents (ammonia) to avoid permanent damages.
